Yukon Demand Response Management software

Eaton’s Yukon Demand Response management software (DRMS) provides residential and commercial demand response (DR) management capability on a robust enterprise software platform. The DRMS supports multiple communication options for two-way load control switches and smart thermostat solutions. The Yukon software platform also features optional modules supporting measurement & verification (M&V) data collection for load forecasting, asset management, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Distribution Automation as well as open interface standards and specifications to ensure seamless integration to future enterprise software applications. The Yukon DRMS is one of Eaton's Demand Response solutions.

Delivering data to functions across the utility

Eaton's Yukon DRMS solution provides utility personnel with data for key management functions throughout the enterprise. Program administrators can access data on program enrollment and asset management, while customer service representatives can access individual customer profiles and history. In addition, control room operators can schedule control and manage automated control.

Managing load events using smart thermostats

By managing and controlling smart thermostats, utilities can offer residential and commercial customers both energy savings and comfort, while maintaining the ability to activate load management events for capacity management, energy price mitigation and system events. Off-the-shelf integrations with 3rd party thermostat vendors makes implementation easy.

ADVANCED LOAD MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMING AND CONTROL
 Activation and monitoring of events targeting DR resources with a variety of strategies including discrete sheds, standard cycling, time control and adaptive TrueCycle. Yukon DRMS can also perform automatic load shedding by monitoring and responding to changes in system load.
YUKON OPERATOR FORECASTING
 Calculate the expected load reduction and event impact through live weather data coupled with offline analysis of equipment performance data
ASSET AVAILABILITY
 Review a summary of the status of the devices in the control area or load program
ASSET MANAGEMENT / CUSTOMER SERVICE PORTAL
 Individual device and consumer profiles related to hardware installation, program enrollments, event participation history and device metrics
PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION PORTAL
 Administrator management of program availability, consumer program enrollments and opt-out reporting
ENTERPRISE INTEGRATION MODULE (EIM)
 Provide real-time integration with other utility IT infrastructure such as SCADA, Energy Markets and Customer Billing
