A broad variety of xComfort sensors are available which make in combination with the actuators and controllers the home more comfortable, safer and energy efficient. The sensor range includes dedicated sensors to measure the temperature, humidity as well as to identify water leakage in a room. For example, door/window sensors are available to prevent energy waste when doors/windows are open and motion sensors can control lights depending on movement and brightness. Furthermore, the Room Controller Touch has been designed to easy visualize and control the temperature and humidity in a room.
xComfort sensors have either integrated wireless communication or work together with one of the universal input RF modules.
The xComfort Door/Window Sensor is a wireless slimline door/window sensor for monitoring doors and windows and also enables the activation of smart home functions.
The xComfort Universal Motion Sensor is a comprehensive solution for motion detection as a means to control room lighting and climate: For the homeowner this results in energy savings, increased comfort and/or safety. Find your future-proof and flexible solution with xComfort Universal Motion Sensor!
The xComfort Room Controller Touch with touch display with backlight function has been designed as local Room Control Unit for the easy visualization and control of the temperature and humidity in a room. It can also provide floor temperature control (min/max) by the use of an external Temperature Sensor.
The temperature input unit registers temperatures by means of a external connected wired Temperature Sensor and transmits this information to the xComfort Controller. It can also control simple operations, such as to control conservatory shading or the heating.
The „energy sensor for loads up to 16 A“ and „energy sensor with external sensor for loads up to 100 A“ can measure energy, for example the solar energy converted in the PV inverter and forward this information to the xComfort Controller for efficient Energy Management solutions.
The room controller registers the room temperature and sends it to a controller or actuator. This enables the user to have easy control of individual rooms (heating), but also to control conservatory shading.
This PIR motion sensor is designed to sense movement inside a building. It controls lights depending on movement and brightness.
The water leakage sensor identifies liquid leakages, triggers an acoustic alarm. As long as liquid is detected, the alarm will continue. The water leakages sensor should be used in combination with the Binary Inputs Units.
The smoke detector detects smoke according to the stray light principle and triggers an optical (red LED) and an acoustic alarm (buzzer). The alarm continues as long as smoke is detected. With the Adapter Module for Smoke Detector and the Binary Input (2x Signal contact) the status can be send to a controller or actuator.
The air quality sensor measures the current air quality (VOC). Unlike other sensors (e.g. CO2 sensors which measure CO2 only), this sensor can detect a wide range of gases and vapours. The air quality sensor should be used in combination with the Analogue Input.
The humidity sensor with temperature sensor measures relative humidity and the temperature and its value. The humidity sensor with temperature sensor should be used in combination with the Analogue Input to send the information to the controller or actuator within the smart electrical installation.
The temperature sensors detect the temperature for the temperature input unit. Temperature sensors should be used in combination with the Temperature Input Unit or with the Room Controller Touch.
The built-in and surface-mounted window contacts should be used in combination with the Binary Input (2x Signal contact) for monitoring doors and windows. The contacts are fixed on the window or door frame and wired connected to the Binary Input, while the magnet is fixed on the movable part of the window or door.
The 2-channel analogue input can receive different measuring values (e.g. air quality, humidity, direction of the wind etc.) or the temperature and transmit them to a controller or actuator which are part of the smart electrical installation.
The impulse counting input 2-way is used to register the consumption values of current, gas, water etc. via the standardized SO interface and to send these values to the controller with the energy management function for analysis and display purposes.
The binary input unit 2x 230 VAC and 2x Signal contact transmit input signals e.g. from window contacts or other signal contacts (relays, switches, pushbuttons etc.) to the controller or actuator which are part of the smart electrical installation.
