Once an application is submitted, candidates will follow our hiring process – from application review to final selection and feedback. Below you’ll find answers to common frequently asked questions.

It takes approximately 5-10 minutes to fill out an application.

A resume/CV is not required to apply for a job. However, we highly encourage you to upload your resume in your application as it allows our recruitment team to better assess your background and skills for the role.

In order to be considered as an applicant for a role, you will need to apply online at https://eaton.eightfold.ai/careers. If you are unable to find a role that meets your needs currently, you can join our Talent Community.  When you join our Talent Community, we will keep you up to date on the latest happenings at Eaton and our recruiting team can reach out to you when a job opens that aligns with your experience.

After applying for a job, your skills and experiences are reviewed based on the qualifications in the job description. A member of our team will contact you directly if we would like to move forward with a phone screen to learn more about your background. If you are not selected for a phone screen, you will receive an email from our team letting you know.

Once you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that it was received. To check the status of your application, log in to your account on our careers page https://eaton.eightfold.ai/candidate/login, or create an account here, and you should be able to see the status of your application(s).

After applying for a job, your skills and experiences are reviewed based on the qualifications in the job description. Yes, we encourage you to apply for any jobs that you are qualified for. To make the search easier, we encourage you to create a Job Alert so that you will be notified when a job is posted that aligns with your skills and experience. Log in or create an account at https://eaton.eightfold.ai/candidate/login, go to the dropdown list by your name, click on Settings, and then select the frequency you would like to receive the alerts. The jobs sent to you will be based on the information that you put in your career site profile, so be sure to keep that updated.

After the recruiting team reviews your application, you will be contacted if they find you are a good fit for the role and talk you through the process from interviewing to offer. Timing varies based on the role.

We typically conduct background checks and/or drug screens, where permitted by law. Since practices vary greatly by country, each country or location will have their own practices. If you have further questions about the background check and/or drug screen that might be required for a role you’re interested in, you can discuss those with the recruiter or hiring team member.

Before completing an application, ask your friend to submit a referral through our employee referral program. After this step is completed, you will receive a referral email from Eaton. Please use the application link in that email to complete your online application.

Eaton follows a strict policy of data retention that extends to managing application data as well. We do not share your data with third parties. At any point a candidate can request to have their information deleted by sending us a request to applicantdata@eaton.com. Eaton also follows all local laws and guidelines in terms of retention of candidate data and we regularly purge candidate data to ensure compliance.
