About Eaton India Foundation 

Eaton India Foundation was registered as a Public Charitable Trust under The Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950 in July 2015. The Foundation supports welfare programs for needy sections of public and strives to achieve the Corporate Social Responsibility goals of Eaton Group companies in India. 

Eaton India Foundation is governed by the board of trustees of the foundation, who are ex-officio leaders of Eaton companies in India.

The CSR themes of Eaton India Foundation are derived from the Eaton CSR Policy of 2015 and governed by the Trust Deed of 2015.  

As per the CSR policy, Eaton aims to fulfill civic responsibilities and strengthen the communities in which the Company operates. The Company’s commitment is to uphold far-reaching and long-term sustainability standards. The CSR activities in India are focused on empowering the communities in three basic themes – Health, Environment and Education. Under each theme, the Foundation has identified core program areas.  

Eaton India Foundation is set up to undertake social development and charitable programs in India. Currently, the programs are focused on the districts with Eaton’s presence - Pune, Nasik, Ahmednagar, Chennai, Pondicherry, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.  

Eaton is committed to creating powerful relationships with community leaders, and organizations In furtherance to this commitment and in compliance with the objectives and requirements set both in Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013 (‘Act’) and the Rules notified thereunder, Eaton hereby develops its CSR Policy, applicable to 5 of its Legal Entities in India, namely – 

• Eaton Technologies Private Limited (ETPL) 
• MTL Instruments Private limited (MTL) 
• Eaton Power Quality Private Limited (EPQPL) 
• Eaton Industrial Systems Private Limited (EISPL) 
• Souriau India Private Limited (SIPL)
