Capri ADE-1F2 - Non-armored cable gland

The Capri ADE-1F2 is a widely approved cable gland for use with non-armored cables providing a flameproof and waterproof seal on the outer sheath of the cable. 

Suitable for IEC and NEC installations and with many cable types the Capri ADE-1F2 offers a range of materials and thread options to cover all requirements.

Available as gland only or in pre-packed kit form for ease of ordering. Refer to our ADE Gland Accessories for further matching accessories.

Superior corrosion resistance

Nickel-plated brass is used throughout Eaton's Capri ADE series cable glands for its superior corrosion resistance and protection from contamination. A uniform coating of 5 to 7 microns is specified during the plating process to ensure a high-quality finish with no chipping, flaking or peeling under extreme conditions.

Designed and certified for use in the most severe environments

The seal material on Eaton's Capri ADE series of cable glands has been carefully formulated to achieve optimal performance. Rated to IP66 and IP68 the Capri ADE-1F2 is dust tight and can withstand being completely submerged in water continuously.

Functions of the Capri ADE-1F2 cable gland

1. Specifically formulated elastomer for IP sealing on the outer sheath of the cable.

2. Additional external cable clamping for strain relief (optional).
