Select Diagnostics

Select Diagnostics is our premium vehicle diagnostic system which can diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate all systems on North American Class 3-8 commercial vehicles, regardless of make or model (when bundled with ServiceRanger Pro). It includes a hardware kit with each software license and is regularly updated to include the latest online technical updates and information.

Plug and Play
When plugged into the vehicle, the Select Diagnostics tool automatically detects the make and model of the vehicle and pulls up all current fault codes in the truck. No other software on the market offers this functionality.

Beyond reduced licensing fees (vs. OEM software), Select Diagnostics allows your technicians to spend less time learning different software, reducing training time and improving your shop turn time.

Hardware kit included with purchase

Each purchase includes a hardware kit with a vehicle communication interface, USB cable, Deutsch 9 pin type 2 green and Deutsch 6 pin diagnostic cables, an OBD diagnostic cable; all in an XL hardcase with room for a laptop PC.

Purchase and Activation 

  • Create an account (or log in if you have already created one) to purchase the software license and hardware kit. 
  • You will receive an email to confirm your account before you can shop. 
  • Once confirmed, log in and purchase your Select Diagnostics Kit with included one year license.

  • Once you've completed your purchase you will receive an order confirmation email, with a link to download the software and your Select Diagnostics activation code located at the bottom. 
  • Click the link to download the software to your PC.

  • Follow the installation prompts on your PC.
  • Enter the Select Diagnostics activation code from your order confirmation email when prompted, and the installation will finalize.
  • Call 800-826-4357, option 1, then 5, with any issues during activation.
