Electrical solutions for water and wastewater treatment plants

Eaton offers electrical distribution equipment to modernize and extend the useful life of both water infrastructure and wastewater infrastructure. Congress approved $55B for construction, repair, rehabilitation and maintenance to support improvements for clean water. Leverage these funds to keep water treatment plant and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) equipment in service longer, reduce overall maintenance and energy costs, enhance safety and improve reliability.

Whether it is a new wastewater or water treatment plant, an expansion or a modernization, we can help.

Electricity is critical to day-to-day operations, but if not managed properly, security is compromised, costs skyrocket, the environment is harmed, safety risks increase and operational continuity is jeopardized.

More than $55 billion in federal funding between the IIJA and ARPA is going toward clean water and wastewater-related projects. These projects include:

  • Cybersecurity needs to protect water or sewer infrastructure
  • Green infrastructure investments and projects that address the impacts of climate changes or improve resilience to climate change
  • Construct, improve and repair wastewater treatment plants
  • Improve resilience of infrastructure to severe weather events
  • Upgrading facilities and transmission, distribution and storage systems

Federal, State, and local grants, loans, as well as direct funding are available now until 2026 to support clean water and wastewater projects.

Let the experts at Eaton design, install and maintain your electrical equipment, so you can focus on your core mission: delivering safe drinking water to the community.
